SocialKred Stories

With: Umberto Luciani, Nacon

For this edition of SocialKred Stories, we spoke with Umberto Luciani, Marketing Director at Nacon about their experience using SocialKred. He shares how Nacon approach community building and growth across social channels — and what they’ve learned along the way.

To start, could you tell us a bit about your role and what your team focuses on?

I am Marketing and Communication Director at Nacon, a market leader in the gaming industry. My idea was to create a community of nano and micro influencers (gaming passionate users), with a loyalty program to let them earn points, share and create content on their own social profiles, to help amplify and make our social activities go viral.

When you first tried the SocialKred platform, what stood out to you?

What immediately stood out to me was how intuitive and creator-friendly the platform felt from the very first interaction. Despite the complexity of managing a gaming community and rewarding multiple types of online engagement, SocialKred made everything feel incredibly streamlined.

The combination of user analytics, automated rewards, and community insights gave us a clear structure to build a loyalty ecosystem quickly, without compromising on depth or scalability.

You’re able to rebrand and customise our tech, did this impact your experience?

The white-label features were decisive for us. They allowed us to create an app that felt 100% Nacon from day one—from branding to UX flow, to the way guidelines and rewards were presented.

This level of customisation made the platform not just a tool we used, but a native extension of our brand ecosystem, perfectly aligned with our tone of voice, visual identity, and the expectations of our gamer audience.

What has your experience been like working with our team day-to-day?

Working with the team has been a positive experience. They are proactive, fast, and genuinely invested in understanding our community goals.

Communication was always clear, support was immediate, and the team consistently anticipated potential bottlenecks before they became issues.

What I appreciated most was the collaborative mindset: it felt like having an extension of our internal marketing and product team, not just an external vendor.

Finally, if a colleague at another organisation asked you about SocialKred, would you recommend us?

Absolutely, yes. SocialKred has proven to be a reliable, flexible, and innovative platform for building community engagement and gamified loyalty programs.

If someone is looking to create meaningful interactions with their audience across social media, reward user actions, and launch a branded loyalty experience quickly and professionally, I would recommend SocialKred without hesitation.
